Perfect for when you want something light, crispy, and veggie-packed, this crust will make you wonder why you ever stopped at cauliflower. Zucchini is not only a great way to sneak in more greens, but it also gives your pizza a fun, fresh flavor that’s perfect for pizza night or even as a healthy snack. Ready to give this garden-inspired crust a try?
Ingredients:
2 medium zucchinis (grated)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large egg
1/2 cup almond flour (or regular flour)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
3. Preparation Time & Cook Time
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Grate the zucchini and squeeze out the excess moisture using a cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel.
In a bowl, mix the grated zucchini with the egg, mozzarella cheese, almond flour, salt, oregano, and garlic powder until fully combined.
Spread the zucchini mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a thin pizza crust (about 1/4 inch thick).
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is firm.
Add your toppings and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts and turns bubbly.
